Come and discover the amazing wildlife and marine life in which take habitat on Carswell Farm with ecologist, Robbie Phillips.

We will be looking at a range of species, from birds to bees to butterflies, learning about how they breed and what habitats they are using on the farm. We will look at some of the habitats that are being created and managed for wildlife as well as looking out for some of the more unusual species that can be found along the coast.

Light lunch of soup/bread and cake will be served at midday.

We’ll finish the tour with a trip to the beach for some of the best rockpools you can find, from starfish to crabs and even a squat lobster may be on the cards.

This tour is on foot and we’ll cover roughly 5km of walking, along footpaths and some rough terrain.

Please bring suitable footwear/clothing for walking along footpaths and rockpools. Sun hats/sun screen and water bottles would also be advisable.

Due to the nature of Carswell Farm, this tour isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility impairment. Please note there aren’t any loo facilities on our walking route.
