In a lovely location with beautiful views, Corner Cottage offers perfect accommodation for a larger family or group.

Just off a quiet farm lane at Lambside Farm and only a few minutes walk from the coastal path, Corner Cottage offers space and comfort for up to ten people.

The Property:
Corner Cottage offers a wonderful light and airy accommodation for up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms – 2 kingsized (1 ensuite), 2 twins and a room with 2 single beds (one 3′ off the ground). Two of these bedrooms are downstairs (double and twin), so ideal for anyone who finds stairs difficult. There are 3 bathrooms – 1 downstairs with a bath, 1 upstairs with an antique roll-top bath & separate shower and the main bedroom upstairs is en-suite with a shower.

The kitchen, dining and living area is open plan with lots of natural light and a woodburner. The gorgeous handmade kitchen table is huge and can sit 16 people with ease – so great if you have a large group and want to book more than one cottage but still all be able to eat together.

There is a large sunny garden with a gate through to our lovely wildflower meadow and children’s play area – complete with Alys the tractor! A mxaimum of two dogs are very welcome, subject to our usual rules and additional charges per dog.

Doubles, singles or quadruples, no we’re not talking about drinks, we’re talking about tennis! This year we’re offering the opportunity to use Carswell Farm’s hardcore tennis court (pre-book) – for guests wanting to stay active this summer, why not get in touch and book!

*Please bring your own tennis rackets and balls, pre-bookable only for one hour at a time. The tennis courts are within the grounds of the owners house, therefore no dogs allowed.

Amenities:
In addition to the woodburner, Corner Cottage has solar water panels, full central heating and all the standard facilities that we offer. Hotel quality white bed linen and big fluffy towels are all provided, as well as tea-towels, bath mats and environmentally friendly cleaning materials. We put delicious local organic milk in the fridge for your arrival – with our compliments, along with enough recycled paper toilet rolls, Fair Trade tea, coffee, sugar to get you started!

History:
Corner Cottage originally housed pigs belonging to the Plymouth Co-operative Society, before being converted in the 1960s to provide a home for farm workers.
