The cottage is exactly what we needed to escape the fast bustle of our day to day life. The beds were really comfy, the downstairs was lovely and cosy. Being able to walk out of the door and across fields to the beach was amazing. Hopefully next time, the weather will be a bit kinder to us, but it gave us an excuse to have cosy afternoons watching films, after the bracing sunny mornings on the beaches.

Boundary Cottage is a beautiful little gem surrounded by the South Devon countryside with the coast just minutes away. The home is fully equipped and we were delighted to find fresh eggs and milk on arrival. The garden was a highlight and the bath tub that looks out onto the farm land was a beautiful spot to relax. It is worth noting that this cottage is around 10 minutes off the main road down some tight roads – but we quickly became familiar with this and the best route in/out of the cottage (which was suggested to us by Jo).

This cottage is a complete gem! The furnishing has been beautifully done, I found myself photographing everything for inspiration at home. The pièce de resistance however was the bathroom, everything I have ever dreamed of, an amazing view from the bath over fields and woodlands (I even watched the sun set through the trees) a fireplace AND A DAY BED!! Utter heaven!! Downstairs there is a very effective log burner, and a brilliant electric cooker that looks and feels like an Aga, only so much easier. The beautiful coastal walks are right on the doorstep, we walked to Mothecombe and after descending into the famous beach we had a delicious lunch at The School House Restaurant. We will definitely come again and stay longer, there was so much more we could have done and the cottage immediately felt like it was our own home!

What a beautiful place to stay! Very peaceful and quiet yet 5 minutes walk to the coast path and 8 minutes from a secluded sandy beach, great for swimming.
